A device is an IoT device that is equipped with sensors, software, and network to collect and exchange data with other devices and systems. You can create and add unlimited devices within your workspace to start posting the data from your actual IoT device back to the Statstream platform.

A variable is a data point or value that is associated with a specific device or sensor.

A custom subdomain enables users to create a personalized and branded company/organization subdomain address under the main domain of the platform to access the account. ex: mycompany.statstream.app (during new account sign up you can choose your own subdomain)

Custom URL and complete branding & white-label, refers to the ability to fully customize and brand the platform under your own identity. It involves replacing the default branding, logos to create a consistent and cohesive user experience. ex: you can point your account at mycompany.statstream.app to your own domain, like myiotportal.mycompany.com
